Which are your best photos? This, I expect, is an impossible question for any photographer to answer. I'll leave that to others. For me, the memory of the experience and pleasure of taking a picture is more important, of getting up at some stupid hour on a freezing morning to wait for goldeneye to emerge from the mist on a Scottish loch, crouching patiently by a pool for a dragonfly to hover in the air just long enough to freeze it in flight, or carrying a ton of gear up a mountain just in case I see "that shot"!.So, here are a few of my favourite shots.
